I'M BACK....

Diagnosis: TMJ
Who would have thought that my years of clinching and grinding my teeth at night would catch up with me and torture me with pain but it did and I am now on the way to getting some relief hopefully soon.I have a Bite Guard ordered and I am on Anti-imflammatories for the pain and inflammation and something else for the bad pain which I am trying to refrain from taking only if I have to have it.Thanks to all of my sweet friends for caring about what happened to me I love y'all bunches and I really missed blogging!!!

We spent our Thanksgiving at Daytona Beach Florida so that my DH,DS and Mom could go to the "Turkey Rod Run" held every year there at the Daytona speedway and we dinner Thanksgiving night at this awesome little place on the beach called Barnicles Jeff and I had Lobster Lasagna and Cole and Mom had Coconut Shrimp it was yummy!!

Bless your heart Cecile! I'm glad they found what was causing your pain and can fix it. I've slept with a bite guard for years due to grinding my teeth. All of my teeth had actually become loose and I could move them around...scary. My periodontist discovered the problem and the bite guard fixed it. As unactractive as it is for this 58 year old woman to sleep with a retainer in my mouth...I do it. I want to keep my teeth!!!

Glad to have you back blogging. I so enjoyed getting to meet you and your Mom at Thanksgiving.

Cecile ... I am sooooo glad you now know what's going on and can take the steps necessary to feel better.

I'm so lucky to have you for a friend. It was SO much fun having lunch together and they two hours just felt like 2 minutes ya know?

We have to make this an annual tradition ... next year we'll plan in advance so we can have LOTS of time together.

Feel better ...
Missy
